To the south of Madrid there is a highway traveling west. (You will need a guidebook.) It courses through a town (which appeared uninhabited on a Monday) and heads up a hill. There you will find a castle and a group of windmills used for milling grain. There will likely be Japanese tourists and a bus or two. But, it has a great view of the valley and you will leave humming the major tune from a Broadway musical.
