By the date in the corner you can see that this photo was taken five years ago. We were walking on one of the smaller islands of Venice and looked across at Saint Mark's and The Doges' Palace. Venice is magical. If you visit, make sure to walk the streets at night. The tourists go back to the ships and hotels; you are left with history and shadows. You cannot beat that.
