Did not see a thing

   This photo was taken last spring in a flight from Sacramento to Portland. We just arrived again. This time by car. Did not see mountains or much of anything except vast clouds of smoke. In the 600 miles we had only a few clear miles, mostly in Portland. Today it is 79 in Portland, a far cry from the triple digits of the last month in California.
