The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often called Montmartre, although that is the name of the hill on which it stands. You can get there one of several ways. There is a tram up from the lower level (my choice) or a set of stairs (my granddaughter's choice). You can also take a cab up. If you are driving in Paris and could follow a map, I have no sympathy for you as you will see very little except horrendous traffic. Fly in and take a cab into the central city (65 Euros) go back out and rent a car a CDG and drive in the smaller cities and less populated areas. Cabs are not expensive in Paris.
