In the center of Madrid there is a large park. It was very near our hotel. We had been out for a walk when we entered the park at the botanical gardens. Amazing. Both inside and out the gardens were full of plants. A good place to wander or to picnic, the gardens are a pleasant place to spend some hours. When done, it is out the gate toward downtown and tapas.
