Our last trip to Canada was in August. Alberta in the summer is pretty and surprising. You will need your coat and gloves. The Icefields Parkway goes along substantial glaciers and it can be cold. At Lake Louise we spent the night and made a point to have prosecco at the bar of the lodge. We watched a wedding through the widow and went on a hike along the lake. If you travel in this area, don't miss the smaller lakes and the waterfalls. If you continue north, Jasper is a nice town to visit.
