The best adventures are those that contain surprises. There are wonders to be discovered by getting lost in the Highlands of Scotland or on the back roads of New England. Pigeon Point Lighthouse, California USA
We often go to Pigeon Point to watch for whales. It has a great deck overlooking the point where the whales come close to the shore. There are also sea lions and many birds such as pelicans. There is a hostel here, as well.
