Generalife just outside the walls of The Alhambra in Granada Spain

 

The gardens outside of the main area to the Alhambra are worth a visit.

While they are the place for the leaders to spend their summers, they are

a splendid place to view the city and the main structures.

"Generalife" looks like an English word, but it is not.

It is Arabic transliterated from " Jannat al-'Ārifa".
