The Carousel, Paris

        On the far side of the large court at the Louvre is The Carousel. We use the entrance near there to beat the crowds into the museum. Now, if you are looking for a merry-go-round there is one that is not far away, but The Carousel is named that for the various animals at the top over the arch. The photo here was taken in July which will indicate the popularity of this area in the summer.
