Dry Lake in Botswana From The Air

In southern Africa they don't talk about seasons like summer, fall, winter, and spring. They talk about the wet season and the dry season. When flying from South Africa to Zambia, we passed over a dry lake(shown in white above). During the wet season it would be full of water. Dry season is the best time to visit and that is their "winter" or our summer of June and July.
