The best adventures are those that contain surprises. There are wonders to be discovered by getting lost in the Highlands of Scotland or on the back roads of New England. When traveling it seems to me to be the little things that excite me.
Sure the Forum in Rome or the Edinburgh Castle are impressive.
Yet while everyone is looking there I people watch and look at dogs and see flowers.
