We have taken our grandchildren to a variety of places overseas.
Our goal was to give them a chance to be citizens of the whole world.
In each case, the kids were exposed to people unlike themselves.
This photo is of my grandson and other western travelers
visiting a school in Botswana which had been their "pen-pals" before hand.
