Only the brave or big swim in the Chobe River, Botswana

This appears that I was close to this crocodile.
I was in a boat out several yards into the Chobe River in Botswana.
We had just flown in from South Africa and were on our way to the tent village that would be our home for several nights. That compound was surrounded by a high fence so that we wouldn't bother the wildlife. (Background noise was from a hippo.) We were fairly safe, but it was obvious that outside the compound there were dangers. One is shown here.
