Royal Palace of Madrid

One can imagine that the royal leaders have nice homes.
In general they mostly look like office buildings.
Buckingham is that way as is The Spanish Royal Palace in Madrid.
 The Palace ofVersailles is not exactly a goverment building, at least from one side.
Do you suppose that people in the United States want one too?
