Mont St. Michel

I have posted long range photos of this obviously identifiable landmark.
It is wonderful and does not seem real.
Once inside, seeing the cafes and markets and the busy streets
it seems less magical.
There are, however, hidden places to encounter the Mont.
This photo is of a walkway up to the rampart where all I encountered was seagulls.
