The Fenice, Venice


     Outside the Fenice Opera House in Venice - star of the book, "The City of Falling Angels" - and the inside. It is ready for a concert. We were in an almost empty house when a man walked out, tuned the piano, tested it by playing a wonderful piece, and walked off. We could not have planned it.
