Looking across Lake Como toward Bellagio and Lucca

We found a lovely old hotel/bed and breakfast on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Como.
We had a large veranda and a short drive to both Bellagio and Lucca.
Lake Como Italy is often noted as one of the most beautiful places on earth.
It is home to the wealthy and famous.
We were not on the lookout for anyone famous. We were there to see this wonderful lake and backdrop.
What we did discover in addition to the beauty of the place was a family who welcomed us,
fed us well, gave us information and went way out of their way to help.
It is these sort of folks that make good memories.
