Sunday: Church Day: The Rock of Cashel

The Rock of Cashel rises out of the Irish farmland and one can see why people thought it a holy place from the beginning. Atop the rock is a high tower and church along with a ancient graveyard marked with Celtic crosses. It is very much at the center of Ireland in many ways. Photo by Mike McLellan
