This poster is all around our neighborhood

     In this photo an elderly man is carrying this sign in the Annual Multnomah Days celebration is our part of Portland. It is a common sign around here. It is a summary of the values held by most in this area. It affirms the various people around us. I guess one could see this as a liberal statement , but it is really only a statement about the basic rights and values of all human beings. If that is liberal or left-wing, then so be it. But, the folks showing this sign would say that they affirm those on the right who go by the label "conservative". We are all in this together.
