Out of window at The Alhambra, Granada Spain

The Alhambra in Granada is a fancy and well appointed series of buildings. Washington Irving stayed there and wrote a book of "Tales" that I read long ago. I took many photos of the elaborate work on the walls and ceiling, but this photo is out a window onto a small private courtyard which would be a lovely place to sit on a warm summer day -- and it was.
