The garden of the palace, Paris France

The garden near the palace in the guest area  there are small beds with flowers, but is mostly devoted
to walking paths among the trees. As I look at this, I am reminded of the description that 
E.A. Poe made about Spring. He defined spring as when it is summer in the sun and winter in the shade.
