Mountain Views of Switzerland

On a three week road trip of Central Europe we planned to drive the length of 
Switzerland and see the wonderful mountains. We then had arranged an air flight
over the Matterhorn.
From what we saw, there are no mountains there.
At ground level we saw waterfalls, bought Swiss Chocolate, 
 and met some nice folks.
You don't always find what you are looking for.
