Pittock Mansion, Portland Oregon USA

On top of a hill overlooking Portland, Oregon stands the home of the publisher of the Oregonian  Newspaper. It is a grand place, completely furnished in period pieces. The remarkable thing is that it is a favorite place to go for children. It may be the scale or the fact that they can see what it was like in the days of their great-grandparents.
