WELCOME

This blog is about the adventure of traveling and especially the interesting people that you meet. We will share stories about people and places we have encountered from around the United States, Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Canada, Spain, Mexico, The Vatican, The Netherlands, Belgium, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Liechtenstein, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and more. This is not a travelogue -- we leave that to Rick Steves -- this is a collection of fragments in the journey of life.

Restroom, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England

The Victoria and Albert Museum is a truly good one and I fear suffers from not being the British Museum. They are very different and want to be. One thing about the V & A is that it has a very nice cafe to have lunch and I highly recommended it. The second thing of note is  that it has one of the nicest men's rooms I have used (maybe second to the restrooms in Terminal 2E of the Paris Airport.) The photo above  -taken not to show people or plumbing - shows the handmade tiles with the museums monogram. Not many places will do details like that.
