Christopher Columbus...how did he find the New World?

     This is a photo of the Christopher Columbus monument in Barcelona, Spain. It is in the harbor and can be seen from substantial distances. The community is proud of Columbus. He made Spain great by beginning the plundering of North America. There are other memorials, such as in Seville where he is buried. The problem is, as noted by everyone, Columbus is pointing toward Africa, not North America. I believe he is pointing to the sea.
