Normandy, France

It was a rainy day on the Normandy Coast. We had visited the American Cemetery 
and the beaches. We had ridden there in a WWII army transport truck. The day was
both fun and solemn. Toward the end of the day we visited the chateau above. This
photo is of the covered entrance to the courtyard. To maintain and care for this home,
the owners have opened a winery with grapes from the property. They also have a small
museum on the site. It was informative to see the home of a local family.
