One of the best pictures I have ever taken (IMO) ... from John Knox's study window on the
Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Scotland.
In the distance you can see St. Giles, the church that Knox served.
In each glass pane you see some of Edinburgh modern life: a phone booth, a cab,
a delivery van, people on the street.
Note that the glass is original to the building, most likely bottle glass.
A bottle is blown and, while still hot, it is cut and laid out on a flat surface.
Because bottles are small, each pane is small..
