The picture one expects of Paris

I have met people who tell me that the folks who live in Paris are rude.
Maybe they met other tourists from other places.
I am not sure. All I know is that I found people in Paris very accepting.
I am not sure if those who complain have been to New York or Los Angeles.
Big cities are impersonal and often impatient with people who speak another language.
Paris is what you make it.
